Early Morning Lower Falls
The chill hangs in the air as morning touches the Lower Falls. The mist from the rushing water reaches and touches our face - refreshing our spirit.
A little maple leaf find itself trapped in the rocks of Powerhouse Dam Falls.
Can You Imagine?
Water has overtaken this little leaf, yet, the rush of the waterfall has not penetrated its strength. Can you imagine the color it held in its prime? Now fallen to rest upon the riverbed. Yet, beauty remains.
The sun climbs the horizon and cool mist rises to touch its warmth. Lake Michigamme splendor is unvelied and colors burst forth.
